Very happy with these knives, considering they're the cheapest available. The steak knives are actually sharper than the ones I got at Walmart.
better than it looks

This knife set is very good for the price that i paid for it and the steak knifes are much better than you think. It just doesn't have a bread knife.
15-piece knife set worth it

Not at all to be compared with Henckels and Wüsthof. Choosing knives is a personal decision. You'll want to consider your style of cooking, how often you cook and the tasks you frequently perform. But this recommendation should serve as a good starting point -- they're all very good knives and are priced appropriately. Cheaply.

It is the price that should have you buy this, and it is well worth it, give it as gift as often as I can
Good set, lots of utilities, not dishwasher safe

I got this set because of its great value. 15 pieces for pretty darn cheap all in all. They aren't cheap as in plastic forks, but for a just out of college person or starting set for someone, this is a great buy. I needed a couple larger knives for those times when a butter knife just won't do, and this has them all. Kitchen shears are great, and the utility knife is I think why I bought it. The small steak knives though were unimipressive, mostly because they are not dishwasher safe but also because the serated edge only goes about half-way, not 3/4s of the way like other knives. I supplimented this purchase with a cheap set of dishwasher steak knives. Ginsu 4 Piece Bakelite Steak Knife Set

Really great deal. The knives have started to get spots after only half a dozen washes, but they still work great and are very sharp!
