 Pretty useful utility knife set |

I have owned Global, Shun (ken onion series), Furi, Ran, Henckles, Wousthof, Chroma, Mac and most recently, got myself a Haiku. I cook professionally, spend my days in a professional kitchen, I have 14 sets of knives ranging from 3pcs to 8pcs sets. I love knives.
So, here is my review of these knives. Good utility knife set. Handles are big enough to fit in your hand, sharp enough to do "simple" cutting, blade is thick enough to stand abuse and they are very light. Rating, Price, quality and performance were all considered as a WHOLE.
Workmanship, I would say, it's excellent for a $4.00 knife set. I can't compare them to my other knives which cost 10x or 20x more than these. But, considering the price I paid for, they are great. I keep them by my side especially the serrated ones.
And I'm just sadden coz, people should know, there is no such thing as "stainless steal" or rust proof knife. They all stain. That's why never, ever put your knives in the dishwasher. Wash them by hand and dry them with a towel. Even with care, with age, you'll notice staining on your knives. Good luck. |

| So sharp I cut myself the first time I used them ... I must have been thinking of my OLD knives that I passed along to someone else. This little set was such a good buy! I am quite impressed and didn't think I would like the colored handles... I do! It is very easy to pull them out of the block and know which knife it is because of the color. Granted, they don't match my wooden Chicago Cutlery set, but the quality is still there! I liked them so much I bought TWO sets. You can't go wrong @ 3.99 for FOUR knives! A+ in my book. |

| This set of four knives is the same great quality of more expensive knives and they are a fraction of the cost. The knife blades are Chicago Cutlery quality at the best price I've ever paid for a knife (much less a set of four) ever in my life. The sturdy colored handles make it easy to identify each knife blade, they contour fit the hand well and you can leave in water without the worry of warping. With four knife blades to choose from there is a knife for almost anything you need to do in the kitchen. |
These are my "go to" knives. Love them!

I find myself going to these knives all the time. The variety of the blades make them useful for all kinds of kitchen tasks.
They've been through the dishwasher several times and are holding up great so far.
I originally bought them as a "filler" for my shopping cart to bump myself up to $25 and free shipping. But I am seriously considering buying a second set for myself, and a couple as gifts for family members. |

| I've been looking all over for these! Over the summer my mom bought some at an outlet mall, and we LOVED them! You don't expect much out of something so cheap, but these were probably the best little knives I've ever used. I've been looking for a set for myself for quite some time, and I finally found them! I'm throwing out all the other useless knives I have in my drawer. |

GREAT KNIVES FOR THE PRICE!
I am not a chef or a cooking snob, so from just an average user, I think they are great. I really appreciate the different colors which make it easier to grab the correct knife for the correct application faster and with less digging to find 'just what I need'.

| I just recently purchased this little knife set at a local department store and paid $10.00 for the set. I love these things! At Amazon's price of $3.99 I added a second set to another order and I am eagerly awaiting their arrival. I would recommend these knives to anyone. They are such a good deal, in my opinion! |

We usually get what we pay for but in this case, at $3.99 we get more than we pay for. The best knife I own and have ever owned is a Henkel chef knife that I bought in the late seventies. It is as good today as it was then, and its quality far surpasses that of cheaper and no-name brand chef's knives I've seen.
I own a Chicago Cutlery bread knife that cost me around $10 here on Amazon and it is an excellent bread knife for the money. I bought the 4-piece paring/utility knife set because I needed a few extra small knives and because I thought the bright primary colors would look good on my magnetic knife holder, and they do.
I've used these knives for everything from cutting cooked pieces of meat into bite-sized portions, cutting vegetables, spreading butter, peanut butter,and Mayo on bread, opening packages, slicing tomatoes, chopping hard-boiled eggs for egg salad, and preparing potatoes for potato salad. The knives work fine for these purposes, the handles are comfortable, and they are very sharp. My Chicago Cutlery bread knife developed a small stain after I failed to wash it immediately after using it, and so I always wash and dry my Chicago Cutlery paring/utility knives immediately after use.
All in all, a convenient set of kitchen knives made by a reputable cutlery manufacturer for a price that can't be beat given their quality. |

| These knives were $3.99 and i bought them with a $25 dollars off with purchase of $125 promotion, as an afterthought. I really like them because the blades are thick and very sharp, and the quality is very good. i used one of them to open boxes today, no problem. i don't agree that the knives are flimsy, as one reviewer stated. although the handles are plastic and colorful, they are a much better quality than many plastic handled knives i've seen. AND, again, at less than $4, who can beat that. |

I have bought 4 sets of these knives one for myself then more for gifts.
* The handle fits well in the hand -- much better than typical paring knifes
* They hold up well and the blade does not rust
* I have had my first set over a year and use them often. They are still shap!
These are great basic use knives for any small knive task. |

| I was torn between this set and a more expensive similar set. I went with this one, and I am happy I purchased this set. The knives and very sharp, sturdy, easy to grip, and make chopping (a chore I hate) fun. These are the best utility knives to have around. I even throw them in the dishwasher without any problems. For the low price and brand name, you can't beat them! |

| I needed a new paring knife and bought several different ones, none of them were very good. So I decided to try this set, as they weren't very expensive. I loved them right off the bat and bought an extra set so I would have plenty. They fit nicely in my hand and are very sharp. The green handled knife is for cutting tomatoes and it works great for that. A good item for a low price! |

| This little set of knives is a great deal. They are color coded for easy recognition when working fast. They are very sharp and comfortable in the hand and the handles are very comfortable to the hand. The price can't be beat. You can also look at the 3 piece set that is similar to this one. I bought both sets since they are so reasonably priced and the size and shapes are a bit different between the sets. |
